My 4.3L OMC engine was in a garage fire. Can I salvage the block, heads, manifolds, or crank does teh heat destroy them. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Hello Bart,<br />Most of the engine parts can be salvaged with minor repairs. The heads may have to have new valve stem seals. The block will need front and rear seals probably. I don't know hot the engine got but I've used engines that have been through fires before.<br /><br />Good luck
