This Mercruiser engine and drive unit are in an abandoned 1985 Sea Ray Seville. I've found 4 serial numbers so far:

The boat- A29268585
The engine- A369532
The transom- A(cant read, maybe a 5)76328
The drive unit- A389106

I can't seem to match the drive unit or transom assembly serial numbers with any specific models I've found online.
It would be great if someone could help me identify the model of drive unit and transom assembly, so I can start doing more research before going about restoring this boat.

Thanks

From memory the R used the MC1 water pump base and the MR uses the newer type. The drive change was the way the upper driveshaft bearing is installed and pinion end play set
