That is a riser extension kit. Does your engine have riser? (Risers are NOT elbows!)

Yes, my boat has a riser extension. I measured the height and it is 1.7 in high. But I can not figure out which of the 2 part numbers is for my boat. as they both appear to be 1.7 in and both come up when I used me sn in the program.

Further along that line you'll see a magnifying glass (under 'Notes'). Hover your mouse on that magnifying glass and you'll see the differences between the difference kits (closed cooling/standard cooling).
