Blue plastic drain plugs.

Yesterday I finished installing the 6.2 MPI after having the transom replaced on my DONZI. While looking for any leaks I saw a stream under the large circulating pump hose. I touched the plug and it fell apart. Not a good thing to happen in the water. The broken shell comes out easy with a small screwdriver shoved in the hole. It looked like the P.O. Used pliers on it.
part # 8M0119211. They come 5 to the pack. The thread pitch is 1/2” 13 in case you need to replace one in an emergency with a bolt.

Ayuh,...... SSteel ones would be nice,.....

The plastic ones rot with time,.....

My blue Mercruiser thumb screw bolts have been working fine for years.

These are removed and replaced after every usage on my boat.
