Alpha one in 4400lb tritoon

Would you be concerned about an Alpha One outdrive pushing this 26' 4400lb tritoon? I'm wondering if this would be a bad move. Looking to buy it... one owner boat.... 300ish hours. Has a 350 mag mpi 300 hp. From.my research that is about tops HP for an Alpha One.

As long as it's not 'over-propped', it'll be fine. When you test drive it, make sure you run at wide open throttle for at least 2 minutes and see what revs it's making...

I was told it ran 5400 WOT... 2 adults... 70 gallons of fuel... 37 mph on GPS. 3 blade aluminum 17P prop. What prop do you think I should run if I'm going to stainless? I'm going to be cruising about 34 miles every time I take it out. I'd like top end speed just in case.
