ujoint bellows replacement

Hello, I'm a gal ready to take this bellows and.....!! 1988 searay 4.3l mercruiser.Hinges off, exhaust bellows, water hose cable still attached. I just noticed there are two different ends on the bellows?

Place ground clips facing up and the part number on boot toward the rear
