Bravo Gimbal Ring Repair

What do you guys think of this repair? Shims are made of stainless hose clamps. Steering pin is quite snug going in with zero play. Once the bolts are tightened, it should never come loose again. I think it's as good as new. :)

The wear on the pin in most cases is not uniform, placing shim material should tighten the pin to ring up. Having it tight is what we want, but do not know how this will effect longevity of the fix. Also placing stainless and aluminum together will cause galvanic corrosion There are places which will rebuild the ring at less cost then a new one
