    Neat idea, but I would be more interested if I could run a remote tank.

    Those little bottles can get a bit pricy...

      Good point, they would look alike...

      Brings up another issue with the little fuel bottles... I could see people such as my self getting very confused!


      I guess back of the boat = fuel, Front of the boat = beverages!

        The connector. It can be bought at almost any store that sells camping equipment.Or home depot, b-b-q section.

          There are adaptor hoses for grills, campstoves etc. that convert a device made for little propane bottles to be able to run with a bigger tank, that would be the way to do it.

            They come with the adapter hose for a larger tank.

            My answers are like Zen...It may not be the answer you want, but it is generally the answer you need.

            The 3 Rules:

            1) Look in your service manual first...Then ask me if it is correct.
            2) Understand that your desire to repair your engine does not mean that you have the ability to do so.
            3) If you are confused, take your engine into a dealer..Then let them be confused...At least, in theory, they sent someone to outboard 101.
