1982 Johnson 9.9hp - Which oil to use in lower unit gear case?

Hi everyone, I was at a local marina the other week looking for some oil to do the lower unit on my J10RCNS 9.9hp Johnson outboard and the gentleman was fairly limited in stock. He ended up selling me a Volvo Penta product, 80W-90 Gear Oil (API GL-5). In the past I have run the Johnson Hi Vis oil but didn't feel like driving an hour each way to pick it up this time.

Will this oil be okay for my outboard? I know it's important to have an oil with anti foaming properties and one designed to interact with small amounts of water.
