6P is the correct setting for that.<br />The correct tach should have 2P/4C, 3P/6C, 4P/8C, 5P, 6P.....

Kenny, if you dont mind me asking, what do those numbers mean/represent? IE: 2P/4C, 3P/6C, 4P/8C<br /><br />*Just out of curiosity

"P" numbers are "poles" in the stator. <br />"C" numbers are Cylinder numbers that have standard charging systems, unlike a 6pole stator that your engine uses. My 115 spl is the 6pole as well.<br />On your tach I think the #2 setting would be correct, but let's see what the gurus say. :) <br /><br />Edit; To clarify the "pole" position, "6" is 12 pole alternator, "5" is 10 pole, and so on........
