Hello. I just pulled the lower unit on a 1984 evinrude 90hp. I bought a water pump kit as preventative maintenance. The seal on the driveshaft under the pump plate is kind of worn and has some rust on the housing. Does this seal prevent water from getting in the lower unit? And does it come in the kit or do I need to find on? Thanks.
