It looks very clean and runs strong. The owner seems to have taken very good care of it. He said it has never been rebuilt and the inner engine bolts still have the original green paint on them. He would be including a after-market power trim and the controls for $1500. Good Deal?
Thanks
Jackyl

http://www.omc.com/docktalk/modref/modelyr.html

j, you might want to get the model number off that engine and check it here. Johnson or evinrude never made a 110hp in 72'. I'm pretty sure all they made was 100hp then a 125hp. These engines also used the electric shift gearcase(electromatic), real mothers to find parts for. I think 1500 is out of line for this engine unless it's in it's original box unused. I'd say closer to 500, but your still stuck with that electromatic gearcase and you can't convert it to the newer mechanical gearcase because there no shift mechanism on the engine to shift it.
