Hi everyone,
First time poster here with many more questions on the way!
Can anyone tell me how much "free" rotation of the prop is considered normal?
I have a new (to me) boat on a trailer and when I was looking for some numbers on the prop, I tried to rotate it by hand. It moves freely about 1/8th of a turn before "hitting" something to stop it. I am not talking about prop shaft end play- I'm wondering how much, if any, rotation of the prop is normal. I may be overthinking things but I just thought I would ask to put my mind at ease.
Thanks in advance!
