1960 Johnson 40 hood trim

Hi, Does anyone know where I might be able to find the rubber trim with the metallic looking insert that goes around the middle of this hood?

Look in the "Top Secret File" sticky at the top of the page, there is a list of salvage yards there, maybe one of them can help you out.

I actually just found about 4 or 5 of the cowls in one of my parts rooms. PM me if you are interested in one.

You must have a ton of stuff. I posted to AOMCI and got a reply with pics of a hood and an offer to send the trim. Thanks for your offer HighTrim. Good guys in the Old Outboard Community!

Thanks for responding. I got the trim from Al in IL (thanks again Al) and, in case anyone needs the insert, several feet of it from Ebay.
