ya think its a 2004 ???
naw....cant be.....this thing is old,paints all faded,oxidized,etc,etc
and its been garage kept so all the "aging" is from the years not the sun
if I can id the year ???? I can get a manual for the "carb removal" ! thats the real goal.
the motor only runs by sprayin startin fluid in it.I need to clean the carb and the mounting nuts are
not wrenchable

iBoats has a page for identifying engine model numbers...follow the link below - it leads me to believe it is a commercial johnson engine, 14 HP, from 1985

I think on those 15 HP motors (like on my 6 and 8 hp rudes) the starter has to be moved out of the way to access one of the nuts.
