Can someone tell me what a 9.9 Evirude outboard motor weights???

Also how big of a motor can you put on a 12' Naden aluminum fishing boat?

    Re: 9.9 Evinrude weight?

I actually weighed mine a couple of months ago to see if it was lighter than my 9.5, Both are longsaft, the results: 9.5 weighed approx. 60#'s, 9.9 weighed approx. 80 ,#'s. A side note is the 9.9 had an electric starter on it, the 9.5 did not. Quag

      Re: 9.9 Evinrude weight?

      I have a 1984 sales brochure

According to that a 9.9 standard shaft is 33.2 kg. A longshaft is 35.5 kg

(Both are manual start as the electric start is listed as an optional extra)

      ( 1kg = 2.2 lbs)
