Hello, I've been givin conflicting advice. Does any one know the correct procedure for doing a compression test on a 2 cycle V4? A couple of additional questions I had are: Do you remove all the spark plugs before starting the test?
Where do you disconnect the power pack so motor wont start?
Where do you hook up the remote starter if working alone?
Thanks.

Remove all spark plugs, pull the lanyard kill sw to disable ignition and check each cylinder (crank for a few seconds). Done. Some will claim the throttle must be wide open ... doesn't make a significant difference with a 2 s motor.
