  • Adding a rigging tube to an older Johnson.

Has anybody added a rigging tub to an older Johnson outboard?
I love the clean look a rigging tub addes but I have not seen them on the older Johnsons.

Mercury makes a good rigging tube ... I used them for my new E-Tec's 3 years ago. The end connectors need to be sealed in place with 3M 5200, or the ends will pop off the tubes. I'm sure there are other good rigging tubes as well available.

I have thought about using old vacuum cleaner flex hose. Cheap and easy to use. any thoughts?
