  • Submerged Battery -- Still good?

I'm working at a summer camp and one of our chase boats swamped the other night. The battery was completely submerged underwater is no longer working. Is the battery shot or is there some way to salvage it? Thanks in advance.

Get a hydrometer to test the specific gravity. I bet the acid solution can be replaced but I don't think that's a do-it-yourself project..........
