I have a 1988 150XP, wherein the trim gauge was working, but suddenly does not work. Also, I have noticed that when under throttle and trimming out, the motor will only trim to a certain point, and then stops. When sitting still, I can trim it fully up and down, though. Any ideas on what might be going on? I was going to start by making sure the fluid reservoir was full, then go from there.
Does this model have a limit switch that only allows it to trim so far? Do I have a bad sensor somewhere?
