1993 Evinrude idling problems

I can’t get it to idle down. Runs pretty good tho. What should I do?

Tell us if it is a 2 HP or 300 HP motor first.----Along with some history and if this was a sudden event that happened.-----How did it run last year ?

It’s a 90 hp and my brother who is a small engine mechanic removed the carburetors to clean them and replaced gaskets. That’s when the idling problem started

I bought the motor and boat online so I really don’t know the history of it. It also had a really bad misfire. Changed the coils and wires. It still misfire but not to bad. I haven’t changed the plugs because I don’t know the gap size. I’m really new to all this. Got my commercial fishing license and trying to make a few bucks. This motor is a headache
