Hello.
I am looking for some help in reassembling my tilt pump. This is the factory assembly for a 77 Johnson 55hp. It is tilt only. Model of the motor is 55EL77D.
I took it apart this weekend and there is a small piece at the bottom of the cylinder that flew apart when I pressed the rod down.
I'm not sure if I recovered all pieces and also can't tell which direction they go back together.
I've looked around a bit, but can only come up with a diagram for the pump assembly, not a diagram of the internal pieces.
If anyone is familiar with this style of pump and could lend some advice, that would be fantastic!
