Hi everyone! My wife recently purchased an old '95 Bayliner 17' with an older Johnson 90. It's had the VRO system removed and the previous owner sold us a full tank of premixed gas. He said, "just ask autozone what oil and ratio to use". I tend not to rely on any good advice from the modern-day autopart stores, no offense to anyone that might or might work for them. I would much rather ask real boat enthusiasts! Could anyone recommend a good brand of oil-mix and ratio for this application?

Thank you in advance, I'm a good wrencher/gear-head but totally Green with most all things marine! (I did work on a few good knots w/ my wife last night so I'm getting there!)

50:1 or 2% depends on where in the world you live.

a quality TC-W 3 two stroke oil is fine.
