A friend of mine has broken the shift rod in his 15 hp Evinrude and would like to know how to take the old one out and replace it with a new one. We have located the part and it is described as the following:
SHIFT ROD,LOWER,LONG
Can anyone who has replaced one please let us know how we can disconnect the old unit and put the new one back in?
