Showing no codes but will not go over 2000 rpm without chugging badly. Does this motor have throttle position sensor, could not find one.

Yes. Check neutral switch on linkage. It tells the computer it's in gear and allows full throttle response. If it's bad computer thinks your in neutral and rev limits motor. The switch is in the linkage, not the same as the neutral safety switch in remote control. Two different things.

Still having no luck getting this motor running above 2000 rpm now. Motor starts and runs fine below 2000 rpm then starts running real rough and will not go higher. Checked compressions today and all 215 to 225. Timing shows about 8 btdc at 900 rpm and advances as power increased . At 2000 rpm showing 30-35 btdc. Neutral switch ok.
thanks R

5033780 is called----sensor , pressure ( map )----Might be the one you are after.----I am not that familiar with that SUZUKI motor.----I have 3 of the 50 HP models.-----Not deemed fixing after they hit a rock.----Lower unit and valve train repairs put them in the junk pile.

Update: took to on out to warmup for compression check. Still not go over 2000rpm. Smoothrunning up to that.and no codes.
checked compressions 215 to 225 psi. Changed oil and filter to get rid of gassy oil. Checked sparkplugs. Pulled ma and checked on motor, 5 volts in and 3.97 out with switch on so that little low and put vacuum on map 5,10,15 and 20psi and step down each phase to low of 1.2 v at 20psi. Looked at IAT solenoid but not sure how to check but idles fine. CTP switch operating correctly. Started engine up and not running as smooth as before and when put in gear would stall out. Then started showing code 3-2 map sensor 2. Checked timing during run and 8' at idle and 30-35 at 2000 rpm.
help please, been losing battle. Engine 2005 with 220 hours

For those interested finally solved part of problem. Took off intake and injectors and took apart fuel vapor separator. Found out that last mechanic that took apart had crushed the grommet on outlet side of hp pump and believed allowed pressure to be reduced and bleed back into pump. Maint. Manual shows grommet in top of fvs but parts book doesn't. Found after much searching in Suzuki 90hp book. Suzuki # 15647-93j00. 9 dollar part that caused lots of headaches.
motor runs fine all way up to 5400 rpm now and do not know if making oil (putting fuel in oil) is still solved but will find out after running this week end. Regards hope might help someone else with crazy problem
