I've watched dozens of em' and this guys laid back but intelligent style and use of the best products can not be beat by a county mile. I bet he learned a lot of this from Nascar and Hot Rods no doubt. He is very funny too! Johnson/Evinrude fans can only benefit from this video!

I clean carb all over and inside out with spray carb cleaner first and after dip. Then compressed air. Don't think cleaning the fuel tower in center of carb is necessary with steel wool unless it is really filthy. Those carb examples he used were really filthy with gunk. If all esle fails a Hydro sonic clean is necessary. If that does not work I start looking for new/used carb. I notice that tin gallons of carb cleaned like Berriman's are getting harder to find. Local O'Rilleys does not carry it any more. Low demand the store clerk said. Napa had some but with a small metal basket instead of a large plastic basket like Berrymans.
