I have a 1976 evinrude 35hp model 35602G and I am having problems with the fuel pump. The previous owner put a new fuel pump on but I am pretty sure it’s not the right one even though it looks like the part recommended. Where the pulse signal should work the diaphragm in the fuel pump it’s not open. There is a partial hole in the fuel pump but it does not go all the way to the diaphragm. The fuel pump only has two hoses so I assume the push and pull is put directly into the back of the fuel pump. Also is there a complete water pump for this motor or only a impeller?
Thanks

Sounds like the correct pump with 2 hoses.----Or is there a third hose on the plastic filter cover ? ---But easy to take apart and drill the pulse hole if need be.

It only has two hoses, one feeding the fuel
pump and one going to the bottom of the carb. I might try drilling a hole in the fuel
pump so that the pulse hole will
line up. Thanks for asking the time to reply to my post.
