1968 Johnson 15 hp

Hello I have a 1968 Johnson 15 hp. Was told it was a 18 HP but searching on the net it comes up as a commercial 15 hp with a fuel mix 24:1 .Is this information correct. Model#WA-14M. Serial# C586349. I have shifter cables for it but looking for bolt size to connect the forward/reverse cable. Thanks Paul

Your information is correct.-----Marketed as a " workhorse " model.-----I have one , a 1966 model I believe.-------Just another exercise in getting rid of old ----Buccaneer / Elto / Viking / Seaking ----inventory after marketing of those lines stopped.

Forgot to mention the ----Gale ----brand of motors.------It is 24:1 since they are not full needle bearing motors.
