70hp Evinrude install questions on pontoon.

I'm looking at a 70hp Evinrude to repower a 2005 21ft Pontoon. Besides a top mount control, and a working tach, what else do I need to get this on the boat and running?

I'd like to run an hour meter too. What about a fuel filter as well as a fuel/water separator?
What other gauges can be run with with this motor that would help me monitor it's performance?

1993 is the year

If it had an evinrude /johnson you will need a harness adapter or new red plug harness. The 05 would have been deutch connectors with system check guages.
