I need a power pack for the above motor which is built by Suzuki. The parts listing shows part # 5033235 as the current replacement. A bit pricey for me. I have found a power pack for 2005 to 2007 9.9 and 15 Hp motors which is part # 5036265. It appears that the connectors are configured differently on this newer pack. Does anyone know if this newer power pack can be used on this older motor by changing the connectors? Is the ignition bore and stroke the same on 2003 as 2005 ? I have seen on Mercury and OMC different power pack numbers used where except for connectors or wire lengths the internal functions were compatible .
