Power Pack Compatibility 1985-1988 Evinrude 150

I have no spark on one cylinder on my V6. i have swapped the connector to a known good coil and still nothing, so i am assuming this is a power pack issue. I have a 1988 power pack and my question is, will this work on the 1985? I dont know if it matters but the stators are slightly different amperage (9 and 10).

Test by swapping the powerpacks from one side to the other.
