All six carbs on my engine are leaking.Ive been told that the plastic float bowls are prone to leaking due to failure over time of the epoxied plug . So since I need to replace all the float bowls I guess a rebuild is in order.
Can anyone tell me the level of difficulty in doing this.
Any special tools required? I have rebuilt carbs before (simple 1 barrel carbs) I figure this should be no more difficult but thought I would put it out there for comment.
thanks

Can't you re-epoxy the plug rather than replace the bowl ???

Are the bowls warped, rather than the bb leaking? They are easy to check with a straight edge. if so they need to be replaced. The job is not hard. Just allow plenty of time to get it right.

Get six bowls and six carb kits. Make sure you get the right carb kits, as some that were listed for my Oceanrunner, didn't have all the correct gaskets.
