Hi all,
I need a new ignition switch for my 68 Johnson 55hp (TRL-10R). I have decided not to replace the Thermo switch (didn't have one) and wire the choke solenoid direct for manual control. The original set up had a choke switch as a part of the Instrument assembly.
My question is: Are there pros and cons I should be considering in determining going with a push to choke ignition switch or a standard ignition switch with a separate choke switch?
Thanks,
