In the beginning of the season I put a new rectifier voltage regulator in. Everything worked great. My battery ran low a few times but I charged it as the boat was sitting in the water. Now I just turn the key on volt gauge goes to 12 V but does not show a charge, that will work but bounce around or stay at zero. Then I’ll take her for a ride for a while and if I come to a stop at takeoff again now it’s start showing proper charge and tack works correctly. I checked the wires under the dash by the battery all is good. What color wire is attack and a volt gauge and doesn’t runoff the regulator rectifier? Or any idea what to check and it could be? Thanks
