This motor is used in salt water the deflectors are obsolete according to boat nets. So i did this with concrete and ceramic tiles the reason for the tiles is to change the deflection angle as the gas comes out the port , because over the years it eats away at the centure you will see in the photo the centure on the bubble back .

Works till concrete starts degrading from heat or tiles break from vibration/heat. Wonder what expansion rate differences are between aluminum and concrete?????

I do not believe it is hard to find good used " filler blocks " for these motors.----I do like the creativity.----I visit museums in my travels and appreciate the work some folks go through in hard times , in the middle of nowhere and when coins are hard to find !!
