I have a 18hp fastwin evinrude. Looking for a part! Don’t know what it’s called or where to find it. It’s the metal part the fuel pump diaphragm screws on to that makes the fuel pump work. It’s connected inside to the side of the piston and I guess makes the fuel pump pump. Please help me find this part

Hey there...
Not a pro here at all, however, Is it the 2 line fuel system or has it been converted to single line already?
That might be asked.. :noidea:

I'm quite sure someone with actual knowledge of your engine will be along in short order, but until then..
Might this be of some use?

Seems to have lots of good info on Johnson/Evinrudes of that era...

Sorry I'm not much help, but maybe that's something to look at until a pro can help you better?

For what it's worth.... :D

The photo is of a bypass cover from a later model. I think there is a way to tap the one you have if you can not find one. The part number for the bypass cover is 0314817.

Is this " part " you need on a pressure tank or on a motor ?-----The piston is NOT connected to the fuel pump on a motor.----The fuel pump on these motors operates by air pressure changes.
