I’ve been wanting to install a tachometer on my motor (’96 Evinrude 25HP 3Cyl) but I’m not 100% certain of the potential wiring issues with my stator. I’ve also read about the “Tiny Tachs” and they look very simple to install but I’ve also heard you are pretty much limited to installing it on the motor itself and that it may also interfere with my sonar / fish finder due to its wiring acting like a small transmitter.
Has anyone had success with either ofthese aftermarket setups on a small motor?
