Will a 2000 and 2010 powerhead interchange?

You're talking carbed vs. fuel injected. I could be wrong, but my first (uneducated) guess would be no.

Maybe have a look at the gaskets in the area where the motor bolts to the midsection to confirm?

Why the interest? What's wrong with the powerhead?

My 2010 had a hole in the block. Found a 2000 head

Hole in block from corrosion, or an errant rod/piston trying to get out?

I guess what I'm wondering is if a (used?) short block might be a workable plan.

Piston went through it. I bought it like this. Used one would be awesome!

I'm a sucker for deals like that as well. Have been for a while now. I've had my best luck with ebay dealers. Several pretty good sized outfits are piecing out engines and selling parts on ebay. The older 90's pretty easy to find parts for, but the injected engines maybe not so much. Be patient!
