I have a late 80s model Nissan NS25c outboard that the electric starter no longer seems to work. The starter itself seems okay, been poking around with a multimeter and am seeing full voltage going to the solenoid but when i turn the key, nothing happens. Voltage stays the same too. Its probably the original solenoid, says "Hitachi A104-123" on it. Probably the culpirit as far as i can tell. Did a little digging to try to find a replacement but can only find part numbers relating to the NS25c2 that came after this specific engine. I'm not sure if its the same starter solenoid though. Not having a whole lot of luck finding part number info relating to the original NS25c I have. I do have the manual, but it doesn't go into part numbers like that. I did find these which look like they might be right, but i just want to be sure. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
