Hey guys,
I have a 24' sweetwater pontoon with an aluminum prop on a 90HP Honda. The prop has 2 numbers on it. one is 9602, the other is 5115. These are the only numbers I can see. I am trying to find the pitch because I need a new prop!!

I have a different brand 24' boat powered by a Honda 90. It's on the light side, so if you have more of a deluxe version your numbers may change some. Mine will work with a 13" prop, but it works better with a 15".

The 13" will turn just over 6K and make about 24-25 mph. The engine sounds really busy.....

With the 15" prop (these are both 3 blade OEM alum. props by the way), the engine turns nearly 5500 rpm, sounds WAY better, and makes 25-26 mph.

I would suggest that the 13" might be better if wide open performance isn't that important, and pulling tubes (or whatever) is. For all around, with emphasis on cruising, I would say the 15" is the hands down winner. -Al

Thanks man this is a good reference point. I am almost certain by the look of the prop that it is a 15 pitch.
