2001 9.9-15 4-stroke Serial and Model # location. can't find.

2001 15 hp tohatsu 4-stroke. Serial or model number for 2001 motor. Not in the usual places that I can see. No bracket plate. Emission plate says Nissan part no 3v7-72089-1. Did not find on internet. Any ideas. Thanks

Near transom bracket. silver sticker similar to EPA sticker. Probably MFS15B. Serial will be stamped in soft plug in block.

Thanks Paul. No transom bracket plate.I'll check the block plate. Is it located in rear of motor, carburetor side or elsewhere?

Several soft plugs on the block and head will have the serial.
