I need a thumb screw that holds motor to transom. Honda 15 HP, 2001. Honda sells this screw as part of the large bracket that is attached to the engine for large money. The thumb screw thread is 14 mm. Looking for another manufacturer part to use but none specify thread size (only part number). Thanks for any help.

Have you tried looking on ebay for transom bracket part number, or doing a google search on the number? Often you can find the assembly you are after reasonable enough where you can buy that and use as much or as little as you want.
