looking for a replacement carb for my 1981 Honda BF75S. I’m new to the Corpus Christi area and can’t find any boat junk yards. Any info would be helpful and appreciated.
The main jet screw was seized and broke. I had to drill to remove it. Drilled to deep and damaged the nozzle. I need the main jet nozzle. Captain Macs boat junk yard in Austin has a carb off a BF100 for $200. I am hesitant to purchase, I have not found out if it would work.
thank you, i actually got the motor running with the same carb. i cleaned the jet nozzle thoroughly, re-assembled with the a new #72 jet screw, and popped it off yesterday evening! i wanted to update my post. thanks again. this post can be closed.
now that i know it will run, i will be doing the normal routine maintenance.
