Rubber cowl seal is in excellent condition but it has detached from the double sided foam tape that adheres it to the cowl. Can I use weatherstrip adhesive to re attach the rubber seal to the foam tape ? Or can the rubber seal be glued with same weatherstrip adhesive directly to the cowl ? What adhesive is recommmended ? I tried 3M Super Weatherstrip black but it does not work at all. I have seen recommendation to use 3M Super Weatherstrip Yellow. Appreciate your feedback.
