I changed my lower unit lubricant yeaterday using the lubricant pump attachment sold by west marine. Subsequent to change I noticed some lubricant leaking out thru the prop hub. Is there an overflow of some type that allows this if lower unit overfilled or do you think I have a leak?

If it's dark smelly oil leaking through prop is combustion leftovers which is quite normal, if clear oil, you may have a lower leg oil leak. Will need a lower leg o'ring kit to change asap.

Luis, it's a 4-stroke, so probably not unburned fuel. Likely Prop shaft seal or shifter o-ring failure. Might be in warranty.

Fishing line around the prop, damaging the seal... is not warranty...
