1991 70 hp force wiring ?

just want to start off and say thank you to all those that responded to my questions in the past...
i do not have a manual at this time and i am i need of a wiring diagram for my force outboard.
the model is a 1991 708E91B...
the controls have the main cable without a plug. it also has a shorter cable which i assume goes to the dash for a tach and temp sensor (guageor horn)...
i have tried to find one online but have had no luck...
i do not want to fry anything as i have invested a lot of time and money into this as well.
this unit also has pwer tilt/trim as well
the controls are US MARINE
does anyone know where i can find one online and send me the link?

I don't know of any online Force wiring diagrams that show all the various ignition systems used.

I suggest you pick up a Clymer's Force repair manual.
You're going to need it anyway.


What are you trying to wire up?

In dash ignition switch? Or is it in the controls?

What color wires do you have to work with?

Need to know what parts your looking for and pics of what you have will really help.
boats . net has parts diagrams. Some harnesses are still available.
If you order from boats talk to a person and make sure it's available. They will take your money and sometimes backorder a part and you might wait a while??

Yeah, the link works, for 5 hp thru 35 hp.

Doesn't go any further.

Well, again, I have just downloaded it and the 70hp is still on page 591.

Are you just using the "View Document" as you won't get the complete file.
