I have had this motor that was given me sitting around for years, finally have a use for it if I can get it running. Found a replacement fuel kit online. While I am waiting for the new diaphram to be delivered, will the motor start with a gravity fed gas line going straight to the carb? I would like to see if I can get it running. Thanks

You will need to prime it first of all, and no I don't believe it will run continuously that way but it will start and run for a bit until the carb runs out of fuel.
Started may also depend on whether or not there is spark to the cylinders.

The fuel pump only delivers about 2 PSI pressure and the engine does not use a lot of fuel. Set the tank high enough above the engine and it will run just like a lawnmower with gravity feed.
