How do I get a sample from the gas tank to check for water ('98 Force 90HP)?

No bleed valve. Use the bulb to squirt some gas in a clear container. The tank pickup is on the bottom of the tank where water lives.

Lift the front of the boat up so all the gas flows to the back
of the tank.
Then unhook the hose at the fuel pump, then use the squeezie
to pump some fuel into a glass container.

That should (??)show if any water is present.
But there might still be a small amount of water in there????

Install a water/fuel separating filter.
Check this every few weeks.

Salt water?? Use Racor or something made to handle the salt water.
Fresh water? then the setup from Walmart will do just fine.
I believe they sell them on this site.

Some of the better ones have a site bowl that has a drain valve on the bottom.
Real good to have IF??? you have the room to install and utilize the drain??
