Hey All,

Picked up this 90hp Charger recently. Been trying to find the id plate to confirm the year but no luck yet.
Any thoughts on where to get a prop?

It's propshaft is 15 spline, 4.25" long. I've heard some places that a mercury hub kit will work?

I do not see the LU in the pic, but if it has the 1 piece LU there should be good chances to find props.
Check the web sites and best is to contact Michigan Prop for advise.

If it has the 2 piece LU (older engines) new props will be hard to find and you have to check out Ebay, Craiglist etc.

It's the one piece.
The shaft size is standard on anything above a 50 hp.
It takes a Chrysler or Force prop.
Most were 13x ??
Some were 13 1/4-1/2

The pitch will vary according to the boat, load??

A 17p or 19p is what you'll probably need.

What size boat?

Send the info to Michigan Propeller, they can recommend a prop.
Don't forget the thrust washer and nut.

The hub kit can be gotten at any Mercury dealer along with the prop.
Or any used Force prop can be used.

Hi, I took it to a marina and confirmed that the Michigan and Mercury hub kits designed for Force outboards will fit on it perfectly. Thanks!

Just wanted to follow up! Got a Michigan Wheel Vortex prop, 13x21. Prop nut is a screwy size, 5/8 - 18, but managed to find one.

Considering the engine was put away wet and left exposed to the elements for a couple years, I'd say it runs pretty damned good. A few issues with shifting at first (Would die as soon as it was put into gear), but cleared up over time as it was run. Got my old aluminum bowrider up to 30mph easily. Video attached
