Recently had new stator put into Force 40. Placed in water, fired up, all working well. Cruised about an hour, pulled into cove. Went from slow speed to neutral and engine died. Would not start. After numerous attempts, used rope with key in
"on" position, engine fired. Ran back to ramp. Engine idling, then when tried to put it into reverse, engine died and would not restart.
Seems like something in the motor control unit? Any one experience and/or solve this?
